IGUs are also known as “double glazing” or “double-pane” glass windows. Windows are a well-known problem when it comes to energy efficiency. By keeping the ambient indoor air temperature insulated from the outside, IGUs help lower your energy bill.
The performance of insulated glass is determined by the thickness of the glass and the insulating space between each pane. A double-pane clear-over-clear IGU can be built in our shop and installed within a few days.
To improve efficiency even further, window coatings can be combined with IGUs to create a unit that reflects sunlight in warm climates or absorbs and contains heat in colder ones.
Coatings are applied on the interior of IGUs to reflect UV light back inside and retain warmth, or on the outside to keep sunlight from heating up the building. These units are specially ordered and take a 2–3 week turnaround from start to installation.
Our glaziers can add glass overlays to your favorite wooden tables at home or desks at work to protect the piece from years of damage and wear. If you want an elegant fixture in your space, we can also create custom glass tabletops fitted to any base you supply.

E.A. Glass offers a wide variety of custom decorative glass styles, including textured glass, patterned glass, frosted glass, and tinted glass.
Rain Glass, an addition to the obscure glass line, has a pattern that resembles water trickling down a smooth sheet of glass. Beyond the visual effect, it provides privacy and diffuses light while resisting stains and fingerprints. It is a great option for bathroom replacement windows — and some customers love it so much they use it throughout the home or business. This has become a very popular application.
If your heavy construction equipment has a cracked, chipped, or broken windshield, we can typically repair or replace it within half a day to get the machine back in service. We are one of the few glass shops that cut glass for heavy equipment on site.
Our glass replacement professionals are MSHA and OSHA certified with the proper qualifications to work on construction sites or wherever the equipment is located. Our techs bring your equipment back to factory specs — and leak proof.
